Happy New Year to everyone!

Thank you all for bearing with us as we continue construction on Riverwalk. As we’re sure many of you have noticed, we continue to progress our grading and installation of roads and utilities on site. Concurrently, the installation of new utilities in Friars Road is proceeding according to the plan that we provided with our last update. We know that construction is an inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience as we get through this necessary step in the creation of the Riverwalk neighborhood.

The next stage of Friars Road construction requires relocating electrical utilities. This work will occur around the intersection of Friars Road and Via Las Cumbres. Work is planned to begin Tuesday 1/17 and expected to continue until the third week of February. You can view a detailed work plan showing exact locations and dates of work here.

Unfortunately, the City of San Diego has required that this work be completed at nights due to the daytime work ongoing along Friars. We know this may create noise issues for many neighboring residents, but we are required to adhere to the work hours prescribed by the City.
