NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has selected five professionals to receive its prestigious 2020 Developing Leaders Award. The annual award honors up-and-coming professionals under the age of 35 for their remarkable professional accomplishments, strong leadership and significant community involvement. The winners will be recognized during NAIOP’s CRE.Converge Virtual 2020, Oct. 7-8.

Recipients of NAIOP’s 2020 Developing Leaders Award are:

  • Pete Shearer, associate, Hines, NAIOP San Diego
  • Janelle Gallagher, vice president, CBRE, NAIOP Nashville
  • Lauren Gilchrist, senior vice president, senior director of research, JLL, NAIOP Greater Philadelphia
  • Briana Harney, vice president, debt and equity, NorthMarq, NAIOP San Francisco Bay Area
  • Anthony Rinaldi, founder and managing principal, Saxum Real Estate, NAIOP New Jersey

Established in 2006, the Developing Leaders Award has been given to rising industry professionals from across NAIOP’s chapter network in all sectors of commercial real estate. This year’s winners will be honored during the general session, “COVID-19: Biggest Opportunities Moving Forward,” on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020.
