Public Workshop #2 to Discuss Proposed Improvements for: Riverwalk Parks

PROJECT SCOPE: As part of the Riverwalk Specific Plan, public parks up to 80-acres, are proposed to be designed and constructed on the west side of Fashion Valley Road between Friars Road and Hotel Circle North (PTS No. 581984).
PROJECT FUNDING: The parks will be funded through a combination of public and private funding sources.

What is the Purpose of this meeting?
This is the second public workshop to develop a program and General Development Plan (GDP) for the on-site parks. The Project Landscape Architect will be reviewing feedback from the 1st meeting, presenting park alternatives based upon context, opportunities and constraints, and typical park amenities per the City’s General Plan requirements.

Community members are invited to provide input on the proposed park, activities to be included in the park, and a preferred park concept for further design then presented at the next GDP meeting.
