We recently completed the infrastructure installation and improvements to Friars Road; consistent with our commitment to the community that this critical roadwork would be done first. The work done to date includes:

Friars Road

• New landscaped medians and parkways
• Repaving and restriping of the eastbound stretch of Friars Road
• New bike lane and two-way cycle track on the south side of Friars Road
• Two new bus stops
• Two new traffic signals equipped with intelligent traffic signal technology
• New intelligent traffic signal technology added to Fashion Valley Road and Via Las Cumbres traffic signals
• New signalized private driveway for the Courtyards HOA at Goshen Street

 Onsite

• All utilities, roads and stormwater treatment facilities are installed
• Building pads for future buildings are complete

Building construction will begin once permits are approved and financing is finalized. While we don’t have a firm date for when construction will resume, we and our partners remain fully committed to the project and look forward to delivering this transformative development to the San Diego community.
